Logo

The Amdahl logo is the canonical mark. Use it wherever the brand needs a full, readable signature. Never recolor, stretch, or add effects. When space is tight, fall back to the Symbol below.

Symbol

The Symbol is the condensed Amdahl mark. Use it as a favicon, avatar, or anywhere the full Logo would be too small to read. Keep at least one symbol of clear space on every side.

Dimensional

Three-dimensional renders of the symbol for splash screens, conference graphics, article thumbnails, and other moments that warrant extra weight. Use sparingly. Raster only, no vector source.

Usage

Do

  • Use the mark with clear space equal to one symbol on every side

  • Pick the color variant with the strongest contrast against the background

  • Prefer SVG in digital surfaces so the mark stays sharp at any zoom

  • Use PNG where transparency matters and SVG is not supported

  • Use JPG only when a flat background is acceptable (e.g. slide decks)

Don't

  • Recolor the mark outside the four approved variants

  • Stretch, skew, rotate, or add drop shadows to the logo or symbol

  • Crowd the mark with other logos, text, or icons

  • Place the mark on busy photography without a solid container

  • Reproduce the wordmark with a different font
