Founding Growth Lead

We're looking for a founding marketer to own our go-to-market engine from the ground up.

About the role

You'll be responsible for top-of-funnel lead generation, brand building, and community, while obsessing over customers alongside the rest of the team. There is strong potential for this role to own customer success and start that function as we grow.

What you will do

  • Acquisition strategy: Design and execute multi-channel campaigns (AEO/SEO, SEM, social, growth hacks) to drive qualified leads.
  • Product-led growth: Collaborate with product and engineering to enhance viral loops, in-product engagement, and conversion flows.
  • Content & storytelling: Launch high-impact content – webinars, case studies, blog posts, white papers – that showcase Listen’s value and voice and power our performance marketing and outbound campaigns.
  • Growth experimentation: Ideate and implement rapid-testing frameworks to identify and scale the most effective acquisition channels.
  • Events & Conferences: Plan and execute conferences, events, and supporting email marketing with a data-driven approach to maximize pipeline impact.
  • Obsess over customers: Engage directly with customers and prospects to deeply understand their pain points, workflows, and language
  • Influence product: Dogfood our product ruthlessly. Own the customer feedback loop between product, sales, and marketing
  • Growth potential: Strong potential to start and own the customer success function as the company grows

What we are looking for

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience
  • You've built marketing from zero at a startup — or you've been itching to do it and have the skills to back it up
  • Comfortable across content, demand gen, community, events, ops, and customer engagement
  • You don't wait to be told what to do — you see what needs to happen and make it happen
  • You've run experiments, measured what works, and doubled down on winners
  • You love talking to customers and understand how to translate qualitative insights into strategy
  • You've done customer research, interviewed users, or built messaging from direct buyer feedback
  • Experience in customer success, account management, or customer-facing roles is a strong plus
  • You believe the best marketing starts with understanding your audience deeply
  • You actively experiment with the latest AI releases as part of your core workflow
  • You have opinions on how AI changes content creation and marketing
  • You're excited about building marketing in an AI-native way and pushing the edges of what's possible

Bonus

  • Experience with B2B SaaS marketing, enterprise buyers, or data/analytics products
